after a 16hr+ voyage that felt much quicker on account of some of the best airplane sleep i've had, i arrived in guarulhos airport, breezed through customs and was welcomed by a handsome man with flowers. still feeling much like i were in a dream, we drove into são paulo. this photo breathes that dream state in the face of what this south american mega-city is known for, traffic and congestion. now from our little hotel in the heart of beautiful jardins, we eat palmito salad and wait out one of the heaviest, most intense thunder and lighting storms i've experienced in my life. oh wait, a spec of sun, time for churrascaria...
